  1. This is very nice! Xfce 4.8 works well, and your Chrome package runs great. Thanks for this.

One question: should I use the devx for 027 or what?

  4. I am not sure what you are asking but there is nvidia drivers in there it has all the normal drivers that xserver 1.7.5 has and nvidia_cut-195.36.15-k2.6.33.2-q1 does this help.

  5. For some reason I am getting a garbled desktop on boot. Has there been any other complaints of this? I have yet to get a successful desktop. I am using an Asus g50v laptop with nvidia and have never had this happen with any Puppy derivative I have used. Any suggestions?

  6. No I have not had anybody complain about boot up problem with the desktop. Have you checked under system hardware information to see which video driver you are using. If you are using the nvidia driver the one in MyWolfe is the same one as in Quirky and it is a cut down one I can get the full one and let you install that one and see if it fixes the problem.

  7. Very strange... Ive redownloaded and burnt 3 times. I can't even get it to load xvesa correctly. The screen is completely garbled and when I do alt control backspace it drops out to a blinking curser but not command line... very peculiar. I use XFCE 4.6 in Lupu 5.2 but wanted to see the differences in XFCE 4.8. Do you know if there will be a .pet for 4.8 soon?

  15. I am going to try mywolfe-28 but I have a potential deal-breaker with my pesky ENE Technologies card reader (the one on the RHS) on my Acer Aspire One D255 that I got for $200 in Montreal. Until recently, no Linux driver was around but someone found a Moblin driver and compiled 32 and 64 bit debs for the latest Ubuntu kernel. So I was able to patch the kernel and run Lubuntu 10.10.

The good news for Puppy's is that Fluppy-13 works. You might want to use Jemimah's kernel for your next mywolfe.

  21. hello
I have tested your puppy and I only have one doubt .... how can I install the network manager for ubuntu. I need to have access to a university network (EDURAM) and the network manger puppy can not make the connection. But the rest its a great distro

  22. I have also got the garbled mess after boot up. You can kinda see a messed up penguin at the top, and several lines of different colors. Nvidia.
