Orage provides a calendar which integrates nicely into the Xfce Desktop Environment. It is highly configurable and supports alerts based on dates. It warns you with popup or audio alarm. As it is an application for every day use, it launches itself in the background as a daemon and can be accessed using the Orage Clock plugin for the panel.I have compiled the latest release Orage-4.8 did not include it in MyWolfe-028 becouse it was having some issus and waited tell it was sorted out download here orage-4.8-wolfe.pet. If you have any problems please let me know. You can file a bug report at Sourceforge if you like.
